This Devonshire Jr. label dress may well be a vintage UK label.  Near mint condition!  Fabric I think is a rayon or rayon blend, medium weight.  Circa late 1940s to early 50s.  Solid brown, button down front, full skirt, hidden side pockets, removable light shoulder padding and a "Peter Pan" collar.  Measures small.  If not for one small stain that is barely noticeable (see images) this dress would look as if it just came off the rack.  It lacks the original belt. 

Note measurements, these vintage dresses can be a bit short waisted, meaning they are not meant for anyone who has a long torso.  Photograped with crinoline, necklace and belt not included.
