I. MAGNIN circa 1960's Boat Neck Knit Sweater

I. Magnin stores, in their hey day, were right on par with Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue. Most of the stores were on the west coast and one of the last stores to go was on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Many Hollywood stars shopped at I. Magnin.

To say that this is a well made sweater, is really an understatement. I. Magnin clothes were not just designed with high fashion in mind but also they were made to last and this piece is no exception. It is in excellent condition.

No size tag. I would size it at a medium to large - see measurements below:

Hips 40"

It is not meant to sit snugly on the hips, note the split seams on the sides. Six different colors of yarn in this piece, just an exceptional design! No fabric tag, I can tell you it doesn't feel like wool.
